Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. in the Indianapolis area is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team and drive reliability across manufacturing equipment.

You will balance urgent repairs with planned work, coach technicians, and foster a proactive maintenance culture to minimize downtime. The role focuses on coordinating breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with Production, Quality, and Safety to ensure safe, dependable operations.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of relevant maintenance experience.
• At least two years of education beyond high school through college or technical school.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs, industrial control networks, electrical systems, hydraulics, and production equipment.
• Ability to organize maintenance workloads, guide technicians, and communicate priorities across departments.
• Ability to coordinate contractors, project schedules, and related expenses.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, coaching, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to support weekend and holiday work as needed.
