Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Indianapolis area. You will lead maintenance technicians, drive preventive maintenance, and balance urgent repairs with planned work to improve equipment reliability.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to ensure safe, dependable operations. Weekend/holiday coverage may be needed.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of maintenance experience.
• At least two years of education beyond high school.
• Strong working knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, and production equipment.
• Ability to organize maintenance workloads and communicate priorities across departments.
• Experience coordinating contractors and project schedules, including cost tracking.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, coaching, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to support weekend and holiday work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians, assign work orders, and establish safety, quality, and performance expectations.
• Coordinate breakdown responses while ensuring preventive maintenance and repairs are completed.
• Plan upcoming work around technician availability, equipment priorities, and production schedules.
• Apply root cause analysis to resolve recurring failures and reduce downtime.
• Coach and develop technicians through feedback, technical instruction, and safety training.
• Track maintenance performance and work order completion to identify improvements.
• Support spare parts availability and maintenance storeroom practices.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to support food safety and dependable operations.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors while ensuring site safety compliance.
• Manage smaller maintenance and capital projects, including scheduling and cost tracking.
• Maintain maintenance records and support quality management standards.
