Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor in the Indianapolis area to lead a team of technicians and manage daily maintenance activities. You will balance urgent repairs with planned work, drive equipment reliability, and foster a proactive maintenance culture across production.

The role requires strong PLC/electrical knowledge, scheduling, and safety leadership, with weekend/holiday coverage as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

Five to seven years of relevant maintenance experience.
Two years beyond high school through college or technical school.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, hydraulics, and production equipment.
Ability to organize maintenance workloads and communicate priorities across departments.
Flexibility to support weekend and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance technicians, assign work orders, and establish clear expectations for safety, quality, and performance.
Coordinate breakdown response while ensuring preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs are completed.
Plan upcoming work around technician availability, equipment priorities, and production schedules.
Use root cause analysis and continuous improvement methods to resolve recurring failures and reduce unplanned downtime.
Coach and develop technicians through performance feedback, technical instruction, and safety training.
Track maintenance performance and work order completion to identify improvement opportunities.
Support spare parts availability and effective maintenance storeroom practices.
Partner with Production, Quality, and Safety teams to support food safety and dependable operations.
Coordinate contractors and vendors while ensuring compliance with site safety requirements.
Manage smaller maintenance and capital projects, including scheduling, resource coordination, and cost tracking.
Maintain maintenance records and support established quality management standards.
