Job summary

Accounting Search in the Indianapolis area is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer. You will oversee daily maintenance activities, balance urgent repairs with planned work, and drive a proactive maintenance culture to support dependable operations.

The role requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong PLC and electrical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with Production, Quality, and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of maintenance experience.
• At least two years of education beyond high school.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, control networks, electrical systems, hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians and set safety, quality, and performance expectations.
• Coordinate breakdown responses and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Plan work around technician availability and production schedules.
• Use root cause analysis to reduce recurring failures and downtime.
• Coach and develop technicians through training and feedback.
• Track work orders and maintenance performance for improvements.
• Ensure spare parts availability and proper storeroom practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Safety teams for compliant operations.
• Manage small maintenance and capital projects; track costs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and quality standards.
