Job summary

Tryon Distributing, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser - Operations to keep beer, wine and beverage brands looking sharp across North Carolina. You will build displays, support deliveries, and merchandise products to create exceptional in-store experiences for customers.

You will work on assigned routes across North Carolina, with responsibilities including customer service, stock maintenance, and assisting drivers on heavy routes. Must be able to lift up to 175 lbs and operate a POD device.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver up to 175 lbs.
• Ability to use mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) device.
• Must be a team player and work well with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge of safe work practices.
• Ability to drive throughout assigned route in all kinds of weather and road conditions.
• Ability to work within tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all assigned accounts.
• Stock, merchandise, and rotate product on various displays and shelves according to industry standards.
• Drive assigned routes or ride along with delivery drivers on major deliveries.
• Assist delivery drivers by unloading products, checking in, and stocking orders.
• Work orders in retail outlets that have been delivered and checked in.
• Build displays as required.
• Report daily activities within assigned territory.
• Collect on Open AR aging invoices.
• Make deliveries to assist drivers on the heaviest routes.
