Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a part-time Merchandiser in Pendleton, OR, to stock and rotate beverages for stores after delivery. You’ll build displays, manage shelf levels, and ensure product is ready for sale.

In this role you’ll drive a local route, provide excellent customer service to store personnel, clock in on the timekeeping app, and work with our Delivery and Sales teams to meet store needs. Prior grocery/retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required for driving positions.
• Must own and be able to operate a mobile smartphone device.
• Previous grocery or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate beverages in stores, fill cold boxes and shelves, and set up displays with POS.
• Drive local route in company vehicle; do not transport product in personal vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with store personnel and Sales teammates.
• Engage in direct communication with store personnel to complete account services.
• Accurately clock in and out using the timekeeping app, adhering to labor laws.
• Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the Company's Core Values.
• Complete all tasks or projects as assigned; manage multiple tasks with strong organization.
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.
