Job summary

Capital Beer & Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to perform merchandising activities, stock product, and set up displays in an assigned territory. This role supports the sales team and may expedite product delivery as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience, plus a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance. Preferred candidates have beverage industry experience and strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; plus 2 years of experience.
• Valid driver license and auto-liability insurance per state laws.
• Experience with beverage product sales or in hospitality industry preferred.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships.
• Planning and organizational skills to coordinate multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers.
• Perform merchandising and stocking activities within an assigned territory.
• Ensure all company products are properly displayed.
• Complete stock rotations, shelf resets and backroom duties as needed.
• Install point-of-sale materials as directed.
• Expedite delivery of product.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
