Job summary

You will perform setup, changeovers, and sanitation per GMP, inspect materials, and document production data. The role requires physical ability for lifts up to 50 lbs, rotating shifts, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Production or Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and sequence equipment during start-up/shutdown.
• Proven experience with automated filling, packaging, or casing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and operate digital control panels and production indicators.
• Knowledge of GMP and quality control standards in food/beverage production.
• Forklift certification and safe operation of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated filling, capping, and packaging equipment to maintain productivity and quality targets.
• Perform equipment set-up, changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation following GMP.
• Inspect raw materials for compliance and ensure finished products meet quality standards, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Execute in-process quality checks and document production data per quality system procedures.
• Manage filler line activities including robotic and casing operations to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Respond to equipment alerts or deviations and troubleshoot to restore operations quickly.
• Use terminals and operator interfaces to track production metrics and support data-driven decisions.
• Apply safety protocols at all times, including Lockout/Tagout, to maintain zero-accident culture.
• Provide relief for other roles to maintain continuous production flow.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to identify process improvements.
