Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to perform mechanical services on cold drink equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, moving equipment as needed, and delivering preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

You will work in the field across multiple store locations, requiring technical aptitude and a safety-first mindset. A high school diploma and at least one year of experience are required; a voltage meter and PIT certification are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to use a voltage meter preferred.
• Prior experience using a forklift preferred; PIT certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in the field to keep it in proper operating condition; maintains positive customer relationships through effective communication.
• Completes required work tickets in the hand-held device.
• Maintains inventory levels by ordering supplies and performing bi-annual audits; keeps vehicle clean and organized.
• Builds cross-functional relationships with Planning, Sales, and Customers; coordinates activities and keeps lines of communication open.
• Complies with safety standards; maintains safe work area and completes safety training; uses PPE.
