Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company seeks an Equipment Service Technician to perform mechanical services on cold drink equipment and troubleshoot/repair issues in the field. The role includes preventive maintenance and inventory management, with emphasis on safety and customer relations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience, and HVAC certification preferred; willingness to obtain PIT certification and drive as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude demonstrated.
• Voltage meter experience preferred; basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in the field to keep it in proper operating condition.
• Maintains and completes required work tickets in handheld devices.
• Manages inventory levels and conducts bi-annual audits; keeps vehicles organized.
• Builds cross-functional relationships with Planning, Sales and Customers; coordinates activities.
• Complies with safety standards and uses PPE; maintains safe work areas.
