Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Beverage Director to lead wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages in a fine dining setting with Michelin/James Beard-caliber standards. This role demands precision, knowledge, and exceptional service, in a restaurant style that emphasizes guest experience.

Relocation to Chattanooga, TN is required. You will develop wine lists, manage cellar, train staff, and build relationships with wineries and distributors to ensure profitability and elevated guest

Qualifications

• Level 2 Sommelier certification required.
• Proven beverage leadership in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
• Deep knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and food pairing.
• Experience managing beverage purchasing, inventory, pricing, and profitability.
• Exceptional guest-facing communication and leadership skills.
• WSET, CMS, or other advanced beverage certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the complete wine, spirits, cocktail, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage program
• Curate an exceptional wine list and oversee cellar management, purchasing, inventory, and cost controls
• Develop food and beverage pairings and elevated guest experiences
• Train, mentor, and develop sommeliers, bartenders, and service teams
• Build strong relationships with wineries, distributors, importers, and industry partners
• Establish and maintain exceptional beverage and hospitality standards
