Job summary

Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative is seeking a Part-time Material Handler in Salem, OR. You will sort, count, and move beverage containers using pallets, totes, and compactor equipment, while recording counts and maintaining productivity standards.

Work includes loading/unloading, data entry, and equipment maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be physically able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented worker who can collaborate with others.
• Warehouse/production experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count, and move beverage containers using a variety of equipment.
• Record container counts accurately and meet productivity standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report maintenance items; keep area clean and organized.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jack and tote stacker; load/unload trailers as needed.
• Perform data entry and process beverage containers, including bag totes and green bags.
• Escalate repair issues when necessary and follow safety protocols.
