Job summary

The Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative in Beaverton, OR is hiring a Material Handler to sort, count, and move empty beverage containers for recycling. You will operate pallet jacks, load/unload totes, and maintain accurate data entry as part of a fast-paced, safety‑driven team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; warehouse or production experience is preferred. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work indoors/outdoors, and adhere to OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Work experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA Safety Standards and OBRC policies.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
• Operate a manual and electric pallet jack and/or tote stacker.
• Safely load/unload trailer with totes and pallets and other items as needed.
• Load, unload, push and maneuver full and empty bag racks of product.
• Lift and empty bags of beverage containers from rack into sorting or compactor equipment.
• Efficiency in data entry and processing of beverage containers.
