Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a on-site Sales Supervisor at our Shawano, WI facility. The role supervises technicians and drives sales and profits while delivering professional customer service. Candidates should reside nearby or be willing to relocate; remote work is not offered.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, budget management, and problem resolution. Prior experience in equipment and supply sales within foodservice is preferred; a driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in equipment and supply sales/marketing within the foodservice industry.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Electronics or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred (4–6 years).

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Attain targeted sales and profits; establish and manage departmental budget.
• Oversee processing of bills for payment within assigned area.
• Solve sales and service problems; drive to customer sites to assist in correcting problems.
• Oversee schedules for service or installation within the area.
• Train others in the sales and service process.
• May maintain proper functioning of beverage and chemical equipment; may install and test equipment.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Details:

This position is based on-site in Shawano, WI. The successful candidate is expected to work from the Shawano facility on a regular, full-time basis. Candidates should reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of the location or be willing to relocate to the area prior to start. This is not a remote position.

Position Summary:

Responsible for supervising technicians within department, achieving targeted sales and profits and providing professional customer service. Assists with sales pertaining to the chemical and beverage program. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and company personnel in a professional and courteous manner while providing accurate and timely information. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution. Ensure duties are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Approve employee hours.
• Attain targeted sales and profits as determined by business goals; establish and manage departmental budget. Review department's profit and loss margin. Control budget and expenses.
• Oversee processing of bills for payment within assigned area.
• Solve sales and service problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardization exists. Drive to customer sites to assist in correcting problems. May provide face-to-face customer service in various situations.
• Oversee schedules for service or installation within assigned area.
• Train others in the sales and service process.
• May maintain proper functioning of various beverage and chemical equipment; may install and test various equipment.
• Complies with all policies and standards
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Required Experience: 2 - 4 Years - Equipment and supply sales / marketing and/or related area within foodservice industry.

Valid driver's license required.

Preferred qualifications:

Preferred Education: Bachelors - Electronics or related area

Preferred Experience: 4 - 6 Years ; Equipment and supply sales / marketing and/or related area within foodservice industry. Supervisory experience.
