This is an excellent opportunity for a new or experienced technician who will provide preventative maintenance, fixes, and installs for customers. Our Beverage & Chemical Department supplies our customers with beverage, cleaning, and sanitation products and services. These products and services provide our clients with consistent, high-quality results. Territorial Coverage: This position generally covers the southeastern quarter of North Dakota (Jamestown area south to SD and west to MN), possibly extending into some of NE South Dakota. The ideal candidate would reside within the territory, preferably in the Valley City area, but we will consider candidates in other locations. Occasional overnight stays may be required to service customers effectively.

Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating and performing scheduled installations, preventative maintenance, and service according to CWD standards
• Building relationships with existing customer accounts to grow sales
• Providing additional technical support to District Sales and Regional Managers as needed
• Maintaining a quality maintenance schedule within the territory and logging all activities for quality assurance

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong mechanical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse personalities
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks professionally and efficiently
• Ability to discuss upgrade opportunities with customers (soft sales)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Essential Functions:

• Ability to sit for extended periods during travel to work locations
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds during maintenance or installations
• Capability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, and kneeling regularly during maintenance or installations
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for tasks involving maintenance or installations
• Fine motor skills for manipulating hand tools
