The Currie Municipal Golf Course in Midland, MI, part of Troon, is seeking a seasonal Full-Time Beverage Cart Attendant to join our hospitality team.

General Purpose

The Beverage Cart Attendant is integral to the guest experience and provides food and beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property.
Beverage Cart Attendant provides our golf course guests with food and beverage service on the Golf Course. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will work to provide our guests with friendly efficient service. This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of six months or less.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Stocking and Inventory of Beverage Cart.
• Responds to Guests questions.
• Follows all liquor laws that apply.
• Must be able to work outdoors, possess a valid Drivers License, and be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience a plus but a booming personality is even better.
• College Students and Recent Grads are encouraged to apply.
• Full and part time are available.
• Weekend and Holiday availability a must.
• Must be a team player in a busy and fun environment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears.
• Occasionally sits; climbs or balances.
• Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions, in extreme heat and in areas near moving mechanical parts.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Valid Driver's License Required; ServSafe Certified (Food Manager & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Working knowledge of POS system.

Attention to cleanliness and safety.

Must have legible handwriting.

Patience and customer-oriented approach.

Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.

Responsible and trustworthy.

Self-motivated and works well with little direction/supervision.
