Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Direct and train all team members using the Training Manual and Certified Trainers; track and record training as required.
  2. Manage daily quality of service, develop, and implement specific Sequence of Service for all bars; coach staff daily as needed.
  3. Implement new operational revenue opportunities such as Pop-Up Bars, New Concepts, Special Events, and Promotions.
  4. Manage sanitation and ensure compliance with Health Code requirements.
  5. Audit all bars and beverage storerooms for quality, consistency, food cost, and revenues; follow up on audit exceptions and maintain records for coaching actions.
  6. Manage labor to meet goals set by the Beverage Manager; assist with beverage inventories, cycle counts, and spot inspections.
  7. Assist bartenders in making drinks when necessary; contribute to menu drink recipe development.
  8. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate critical information; coordinate workflow with the Beverage Manager.
  9. Monitor staff performance, product quality, and production flow; foster improvements where needed.
  10. Direct staff in proper job functions and guest interactions; interact with guests and perform Star Standards inspections.
  11. Attend scheduled meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: 3 to 5 years of progressive development in food service operations; 1 to 2 years managing high-volume beverage areas or bars.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma, College Degree, or 5 years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage including management.
