Synergy Flavors, part of the Carbery Group, is seeking an Applications Technologist II to develop a wide range of beverage products in our Wauconda, IL operation. You will join a team of technologists that have created market-leading beverages and work to optimize formulations and production formulas onsite.

Requirements include a BS in Food Science or related field and 4+ years in beverage product development, plus strong documentation, Excel/Word skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Food Science or other applied science is required.
• 4+ years of application lab experience in beverage product development.
• Strong documentation skills and proficiency with Excel/Word.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with good lab practices.
• Soft skills: positive attitude, teamwork, effective communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize beverage product formulations.
• Write production formulas with batching instructions.
• Participate in routine taste panels to understand flavor language.
• Collaborate in cross-functional projects to support submissions.
• Work on projects with ambiguity with support from senior technologist.
• Provide technical support during demos and presentations.
• Stay current with ingredients and flavor trends.
