Job summary

Givaudan in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Beverage Applications Specialist reporting to the Group Lead Manager. You will lead evaluations of flavors for briefs and portfolio projects, select flavors to meet customer, regulatory and cost requirements, and advise marketing, sales, flavor creation, and customers on flavor delivery systems.

You should have a Technical Degree in Food Science or related fields and 2+ years of beverage applications experience, with solid knowledge of alcohol beverages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in beverage applications lab, production, or related area.
• Understanding of beverage applications, ingredients, and processes, with experience in customers' manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in formulating alcoholic beverage applications, including beer.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluations of flavors in alcohol beverage applications for briefs, research projects and portfolio evaluations.
• Select flavors for beverage projects according to requirements (customer, regulatory, costs) and suggest improvements.
• Identify appropriate flavor delivery systems and technologies for customer projects.
