Job summary

Performance Food Group’s Performance Foodservice refurbishment center in La Crosse, WI, seeks a Beverage and Chemical Refurbish Technician to repair and maintain equipment. This onsite, hands-on role supports repairs, tests, and preventative maintenance for beverage and chemical systems, with a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, Monday–Friday.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing experience and the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 1 - 3 Years' experience.
• Mechanical and/or electrical and plumbing experience.
• Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and re-assemble.
• Warewashing and Beverage experience.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical control circuits and AC/DC drive circuitry/components.
• Ability to troubleshoot, program and operate electrical control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting of 25 - 40 lbs.
• Willingness to cooperate constructively in a team environment with others and supervisors.
• Willingness to work in a safe, organized manner and to follow OSHA and Company guidelines.

Position Summary:

The Beverage and Chemical Refurbish Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance of beverage and chemical equipment within the refurbishment center.

Position Responsibilities:

• This is a hands-on position that will work directly with the machine mechanics. Great for someone who mechanically inclined and likes to work with their hands.
