Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Childwatch Babysitter in Delmar, NY for a part-time role earning $16/hour. Requirements include being at least 16 with NYS working papers, childcare experience, and CPR/First Aid certifications (within 30 days). Training on harassment, ALICE, and safety will occur within 90 days of hire.

Shifts are small in scope, with Saturdays 8:30am–12:30pm and additional shifts possibly available. Benefits include YMCA membership, retirement, and paid sick leave.

• Babysitting Certification is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire).

CHILDWATCH BABYSITTER – $16/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors).
• Prior childcare or babysitting experience required.
• Babysitting Certification is preferred.
