Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, through WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a BESS Project Management Consultant for a 1-year contract in Juno Beach, FL. The role oversees daily project coordination across Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Construction, with travel to project locations as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management within engineering, economics, or construction, plus renewable energy experience and PMP/Six Sigma qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance/Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in engineering, economics, or construction.
• Technical experience with renewable energy projects, electricity markets, renewables, and battery projects.
• PMP certification and Six Sigma experience are helpful; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities with internal and external resources.
• Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, interconnection, and other variables.
• Develop and expand project technical scope and variables for feasibility.
• Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement to develop financial models.
• Present financial models to business units and manage them through budget approvals.
• Represent E&C interests on projects and use software to manage data and reporting.
• Communicate with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, Regulators, communities.
• Ensure handover of projects to Construction PM with an executable plan.
