Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Resource Technician 2 to perform on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for battery storage systems. The role emphasizes safety culture, LOTO, and coordination with third-party vendors on Fluence projects.

Qualified candidates will have a HS Diploma with 2–4 years in electrical/renewable energy, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in extreme conditions. Travel and safety certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 2-4 years of electrical/renewable energy experience.
• Ability to read schematics and follow QC procedures.
• Attention to detail and good documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance on BESS systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including SCADA, inverters, MV/HV, HVAC.
• Enforce lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for O&M services.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors via MS Teams and email.
• Be able to work in extreme heat/cold and meet timelines.
