Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Electrician for the Desert Pine BESS project to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a large-scale energy storage facility, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a Journeyman license, and NEC knowledge; you will work with a team, follow blueprints, and participate in safety programs including Lockout/Tagout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the relevant state/jurisdiction.
• 3–5 years of experience as a qualified electrician, preferably within renewable energy, industrial, or utility settings.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures per blueprints and codes.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on BESS systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions using testing devices and tools.
• Ensure proper grounding and safety, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects on time.
• Document work and maintain records of repairs and maintenance.
• Assist in training and supervising apprentice electricians as needed.
