Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Civil/Mechanical Equipment Operator for the Desert Pine BESS project. This on-site, non-driving role focuses on operating heavy civil and mechanical equipment to support construction and installation of battery energy storage systems.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with the crew, and ensure safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean work area and supporting daily project schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating heavy civil and/or mechanical construction equipment.
• Ability to read construction plans and interpret stakes.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment on-site (excavators, dozers, loaders, forklifts, telehandlers).
• Perform daily pre-operational checks and routine maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations on site.
