Job summary

Frank Darling, a female-founded fine jewelry brand, seeks a Diamond Jewelry Sales Specialist to join on-site in Austin. You will guide clients through stone selection, translate inspiration into designs, and create a confident, seamless purchase experience from first hello to final sparkle.

You will leverage knowledge of the 4Cs, lab-grown vs natural diamonds, and moissanite to advise clients, work with our gemology team, and close sales with a quota-based bonus structure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in jewelry or bridal.
• Strong knowledge of fine jewelry styles and trends.
• Excellent communication skills.
• GIA degree or coursework is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to inbound phone calls, chats, and emails.
• Guide clients through the process of choosing a stone and finalizing the ring purchase.
• Provide feedback on the diamonds clients select from our website.
• Provide real-time diamond recommendations while chatting over the phone or on the website.
• Advise clients on the 4Cs.
• Explain differences between lab-grown, natural diamonds and moissanite.
• Advise on ring selection details (prong/band thickness, setting style, wedding band).
• Empower clients to feel confident in their purchase.
• Meet sales goals and close sales efficiently.
• Show diamonds over video chat and in person; articulate differences between options.
• Work with gemology team to source and present diamonds and gemstones.
• Maintain and nurture client relationships as main point of contact for all sales.

We’re looking for a Diamond Jewelry Sales Specialist to join our team on-site. You’ll work closely with clients during one of the biggest moments of their lives—guiding diamond selection, translating inspiration into design, and creating a seamless, confidence-building experience from first hello to final sparkle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond quickly to inbound phone calls, chats, and emails.

• Guide clients through the process of choosing a stone and finalizing the ring purchase.

• Confidently provide feedback on the diamonds clients select from our website.

• Confidently provide real-time diamond recommendations while chatting over the phone or on the website.

• Advise clients on the 4Cs

• Advise clients on the differences between lab-grown diamonds, natural diamonds, and moissanite

• Advise clients on all aspects of ring selection, from prong thickness to band thickness, setting style, and wedding band selection

• Empower clients to feel confident in their once-in-a-lifetime purchase

• Meet sales goals and close sales efficiently

• Show diamonds over video chat and in person, and articulate the differences between different options

• Work with the in-house gemology team to source, select, and present diamonds and other gemstones

• Maintain and nurture client relationships as the main point of contact for all sales

Requirements and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of fine jewelry styles and trends

• A keen eye for detail and a high level of empathy and professionalism

• Ability to work proactively and think creatively to solve problems as they arise.

• Organized and comfortable multitasking and juggling many client requests at once

• 2+ years of sales experience in jewelry or bridal

• Extremely detail-oriented

• Excellent communication skills

• GIA degree or coursework a plus, but not required

• Jewelry fabrication or design experience is a plus, but not required

• Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus, but not required

Job Details:

• Full-time on-site role located in Austin

• Office hours are 10AM to 6PM

• Available schedules: Thursday - Monday

• Salary: Starts at 55K + quota-based bonus structure
