Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a BEOL reliability-focused team representative to lead reliability evaluations, design experiments, and guide cross-functional teams in advanced CMOS processes.

The role requires a Master or Bachelor in engineering and 5+ years in WLR reliability, with strong problem-solving and people-management skills. This is a full-time, on-site position in Austin, TX with competitive benefits and a clear path to impact device yield and qualification programs.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• +5 years of relevant experience in WLR reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for reliability improvement activities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Identify, plan, and execute reliability evaluations for new technology qualification, process changes and abnormal events.
• Design, execute, and analyze designed experiments to improve semiconductor fabrication processes.
• Utilize statistical tools and reliability models to extract lifetime from time to fail data.
• Conduct reliability assessment to ensure semiconductor fabrication process robust and optimized.
• Develop and optimize reliability test method and modeling for reliability risk detection and margin improvement.
• Must be able to understand the overall objectives of the department/facility and provide effective oversight to the group that will enable them to meet/exceed the outlined KPIs.
• Must harmonizes management’s goals/objectives into the group’s daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure the applicable goals/objectives are met in the most efficient and effective way.
