Job summary

Dimmitt Automotive Group is hiring a Service Technician to service and repair vehicles, conduct pre-delivery checks on new cars, and support customer satisfaction while driving profitability for the department.

The role involves diagnostics, routine maintenance, and ensuring documentation and safety standards are met, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 based on skill level and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training, certification, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years Bentley, Audi, or Porsche experience preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and standard transmissions.
• Good communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Excellent work history.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis and testing.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Repairs vehicles as assigned; ensures documentation complies with regulations and standards.
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety; supports inventory stocking and general duties.
• Follows shop policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 based upon skill level and certifications!

The Service Technician services and repairs vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures. The role is focused on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and profitability of the department. In addition, he or she may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer.

Group Benefits eligibility for full-time associates is 1st of month after 60 days. The plan includes:
