Family Dollar is seeking a Benefits Analyst in Chesapeake, VA to administer and improve our employee benefit programs, partnering with the Benefits Manager, consultants, and vendors to ensure compliant and engaging benefits experiences for associates.

The role covers health and welfare, retirement, leave, wellness, and educational assistance programs, with emphasis on data analysis, vendor management, and communications to support strategic benefit initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support company-sponsored health and welfare benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and HSAs/FSAs.
• Serve as primary contact for complex benefit inquiries and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
• Monitor plan administration, eligibility processing, enrollments, and payroll deductions.
• Audit benefit enrollment data, payroll deductions, and vendor eligibility files for data integrity and compliance.
• Support the rollout of new benefit programs and vendor transitions.
• Coordinate annual benefit plan renewals with carriers, brokers, and HR/payroll teams.
• Prepare analytics on benefit utilization, enrollment, and costs to identify opportunities.
• Assist with benchmarking studies and market analyses to keep offerings competitive.
• Oversee retirement and time-away programs administration and education initiatives.
