Job description

We are looking for a qualified candidate to lead a team that conducts the sale and service of employee benefits programs to organizations. This role is not an employee benefits administrator position as typically found within a Human Resources team. Sales and insurance experience is required.

Workplace: Onsite

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Qualifications

• Licensed – Current license required
• Experienced – The ideal candidate has some understanding of the group renewal cycle and how to support a producer with admin tasks. Experience with medical practice clients will be a plus.
• Leadership – The candidate selected will have prior leadership experience, preferable in the insurance industry.
• Multi-tasking – Ability to successfully manage different projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Cross‑training opportunities will be available for life insurance, annuities, and long‑term care.
• Communication – The ability to speak and write in a clear and calm manner, ensuring customer satisfaction above all.
• Organization – Ability to plan and operate in a well‑organized manner.
• Team‑Oriented – Ability to incorporate well with the existing team, as well as maintain a positive attitude and good energy in the workplace.
• Computer literate – Ready to use and learn technology, as we work in a variety of portals and software programs. The candidate chosen would build benefit enrollment materials for employees which are created in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Quick learner – We are looking for someone who can pick up new things rapidly. A quick starter who can integrate new knowledge will be set up for success.
