Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America is seeking a Benefits Specialist to design, implement, and optimize employee benefits programs. You will serve as the primary contact for the benefits portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance while maximizing value for employees and the organization.

In this role, you will support market research, design innovative programs, and collaborate with providers and stakeholders. You will also manage leave of absence processes and communicate changes clearly to employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or business admin or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive benefits administration experience is required.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support market research and benchmarking to evaluate competitive benefits positioning.
• Assist design of benefits programs aligned with goals and demographics.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses on proposed initiatives and advise employees with confidentiality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement multi-channel benefits communication.
• Manage full-cycle leave of absence processes including FMLA and ADA compliance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and changes.
