Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is representing a leading professional services firm seeking a Benefits Specialist to join its HR/Total Rewards team in a hybrid capacity across Philadelphia, NY, and DC.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in employee benefits or total rewards, preferably with law firm experience. You will support benefits programs, pensions, and compensation administration, with Workday experience and strong Excel skills, collaborating with Finance, vendors, and HR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in employee benefits, compensation, total rewards, or similar HR role
  • Law firm experience preferred; other professional services environments considered
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, pensions, compensation administration, and pay-related processes
  • Workday experience preferred for benefits/compensation administration
  • Strong research and analytical skills with clear communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to explain benefits clearly
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with employees, managers, Finance, vendors, and survey providers
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of employee benefit and compensation programs across multiple jurisdictions
  • Assist employees and managers with questions regarding benefits, compensation, pension plans, and related programs
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits and compensation data and ensure timely updates within HR systems
  • Support benefits and compensation administration within Workday, including data maintenance, reporting, and related processes
  • Research benefits, compensation, and pay-related issues and provide clear, accurate information to employees and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Finance, HR, vendors, survey providers, and other internal teams to resolve issues and support ongoing programs
  • Assist with benefits-related projects, annual processes, surveys, audits, and reporting
  • Analyze data and prepare reports using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Help ensure benefits and compensation programs are administered accurately and consistently while expanding knowledge across jurisdictions
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive employee data
  • Support other Total Rewards initiatives and projects as needed

Our client is a leading professional services organization seeking a Benefits Specialist to join its Human Resources/Total Rewards team.   • Working knowledge of employee benefits, pensions, compensation administration, and pay-related processes.
  • Experience supporting benefits or compensation administration in Workday is preferred.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to understand information and communicate it clearly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain benefits and compensation information in a straightforward manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, managers, Finance, vendors, and survey providers.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as Word and PowerPoint.
