Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support the Jeppesen ForeFlight client in the aviation technology sector. The role focuses on benefits administration, leave management, 401(k) administration, and employee support within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, employees, and external vendors to ensure an exceptional employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Operations, or a related HR function
  • Experience answering employee questions related to benefits, eligibility, enrollment, and coverage
  • Experience managing Qualifying Life Events (QLEs) including marriage, birth/adoption, loss of coverage, and other benefit changes
  • Experience supporting benefits enrollment and renewals
  • Experience reviewing and approving Leaves of Absence (LOA)
  • Hands-on experience with 401(k) administration
  • Experience managing COBRA subsidy administration and employee benefits continuation programs
  • Experience supporting global or multi-state employee populations
  • Experience working with third-party benefits vendors and leave administrators
  • Experience with benefit renewals, vendor onboarding, and open enrollment processes
  • Experience partnering with Payroll and Finance teams
  • Knowledge of compensation programs and Total Rewards initiatives
  • Experience creating and maintaining HR documentation and SOPs

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and support requests
  • Process and manage qualifying life events, benefit changes, enrollments, and terminations
  • Review and approve leave of absence requests while partnering with employees, managers, and third-party administrators
  • Manage 401(k) administration, audits, employee communications, and vendor coordination
  • Oversee COBRA subsidy administration and benefits continuation processes
  • Support annual open enrollment and benefits renewal activities
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions and payments
  • Maintain benefits records, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with employee education and communication regarding benefits offerings
  • Drive process improvements to enhance the employee benefits experience
  • This role will be paying $40-45/hr.

Insight Global is seeking a Benefits Specialist to support a leading aviation technology client, Jeppesen ForeFlight. This individual will play a key role in the administration and delivery of employee benefits programs while ensuring an exceptional employee experience.

The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, including HR, Payroll, Finance, employees, and external vendors. This role will focus on benefits administration, leave management, 401(k) administration, employee support, and benefits compliance. It is best suited for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values operational excellence, and enjoys helping employees navigate their benefits programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans

Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and support requests

Process and manage qualifying life events, benefit changes, enrollments, and terminations

Review and approve leave of absence requests while partnering with employees, managers, and third-party administrators

Manage 401(k) administration, audits, employee communications, and vendor coordination
