Job summary

CRC Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Benefits Specialist II to administer and support employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will handle enrollment, vendor coordination, and employee inquiries while contributing to process improvements on benefit projects.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in HR/Business, 2–4 years in benefits administration, and knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA. PHR/CEBS preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in employee benefits administration or related HR function.
  • Experience with benefits systems and vendor management preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and ACA.
  • PHR or CEBS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
  • Coordinate enrollment, changes, and terminations within benefits systems and vendor platforms.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about benefits options, eligibility, and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and support renewals.
  • Maintain benefits records and perform regular data audits.
  • Assist in benefits communications, open enrollment, and wellness programs.
  • Participate in benefits-related projects and process improvements.
