Job summary

Axiom Space, Houston, TX, seeks a seasoned Benefits Manager to design, implement, and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You will lead open enrollment, coordinate with brokers and vendors, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive retirement plan administration while maintaining high confidentiality and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 7+ years of progressive experience.
• Experience with fully insured, managed-funded, and/or self-funded plans.
• Preferred certifications: CEBS, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs (health, retirement, wellness, PTO, disability, life, FSA/HSA).
• Coordinate with brokers, vendors, insurers, and providers for compliance and optimization.
• Lead annual open enrollment campaigns and communicate plan updates to employees.
• Administer leave, disability, and 401k tasks; align with plan vendors and governance.
• Prepare reports and present insights to senior leadership; monitor program performance.
• Coordinate Benefits Committee meetings and drive governance and project execution.
