PACCAR is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer the U.S. disability plan and support other benefits. You will lead vendor partnerships, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with HR across the U.S. to optimize benefit programs.

The role requires strong data analytics, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage complex benefit contracts with precision, confidentiality, and professional communication.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a related role.
• Data analytics experience and strong knowledge of Excel.
• Current understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to benefit plan compliance.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Excellent communications and relationship building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage competing tasks.
• Ability to confidently present in front of groups.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when necessary.
• Ability to work independently with regular supervision.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access); PowerPoint and Excel skills must be demonstrated as part of the selection process.

Responsibilities

• Program manager for U.S. disability plan.
• Monitor, evaluate and project plans’ financial performance; manage program vendor performance and KPIs.
• Negotiate annual contract renewal including fees, KPIs, and fees at risk.
• Analyze trends, project financial impact of plan design changes.
• Support HR Representatives and employees through STD to LTD transitions.
• Negotiate and maintain current contracts; ensure plan compliance and 5500 filings.
• Audit user-system access for PACCAR.
• Design and cost projection of leave programs; respond to questions from HR and employees.
• Complete ACA reporting.
• Serve as subject matter expert for disability and leave programs.
• Provide training on benefits regulations and procedures.
