Fisher Associates is seeking a Benefits & Payroll Administrator in Buffalo, NY to manage benefits, leave, payroll, and HRIS processes while delivering exceptional employee experience. You will interpret plan rules, coordinate open enrollment, resolve payroll issues, and ensure regulatory compliance with discretion and confidentiality.

The role demands 5+ years in benefits, payroll, and leave administration, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and proficiency with Paylocity or Deltek Vantagepoint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in benefits, leave administration, and payroll coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Accounting, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, FSA, 401(k), life, disability, wellness).
• Coordinate open enrollment and educate employees on benefits, deductions, and payroll timelines.
• Process benefit enrollments, life events, status changes, and HRIS updates.
• Administer and coordinate employee leave programs (FMLA, PFML, disability, parental leave).
• Resolve payroll discrepancies, assist with year-end processing (W-2).
• Prepare compliance documentation and respond to information requests.
