Job summary

Howden is seeking a Benefits Operations and Leave Coordinator in the United States to manage employee benefit programs, leave administration, and multi-state workers' compensation processes.

You will ensure accurate benefits data in HRIS, support compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and partner with Payroll and vendors to deliver timely, accurate guidance while improving processes and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or leave administration.
• Working knowledge of employee benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation compliance.
• Strong data accuracy, reporting, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs.
• Administer leave of absence cases per FMLA and state laws.
• Coordinate with payroll, vendors, and carriers to process deductions and premiums.
• Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and state programs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline benefits processes and improve accuracy.
