Job summary

Core & Main, based in St. Louis, seeks a data-oriented HR Benefits Analyst to gather, analyze and normalize data from multiple sources to ensure data integrity for analysis and decision making.

The role supports benefits administration, leaves of absence management and vendor relationships, providing guidance on eligibility and coordinating with HR partners to improve processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and data concepts.
• Strong HRMS knowledge and experience in multi-system environments.
• Experience with benefits applications and systems.
• Project management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and online research.
• Knowledge of HRIS (Workday) and benefits platforms.
• Familiarity with FMLA, ADA and state leave laws.
• Analytical, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource in area of expertise for assigned client.
• Troubleshoot health plan vendor issues and manage resolutions.
• Oversee day-to-day vendor relationships.
• Coordinate Leave of Absence processes and eligibility determinations.
• Advise on interaction of leave laws with PTO and disability benefits.
• Analyze data, report trends and produce cost analyses.
• Assist employees with benefits claims and plan changes.
• Support HR Partners with communications and benefits administration.
