Job description

Job Summary: This position is for new candidate sourcing. We are seeking a temporary Benefits & Leave Coordinator to support the Total Rewards team during a parental leave coverage period. The role will primarily support employee benefits and leave administration, including open enrollment planning and employee inquiry management. The resource will also provide backup to the Benefits Analyst and Leave Coordinator when out and offer administrative support to compensation and ongoing Total Rewards initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, leaves of absence, and open enrollment.
  2. Provide backup support to the Benefits Analyst and Leave Coordinator when out of office.
  3. Assist with Open Enrollment planning and execution, including system testing, communications, and employee support during the enrollment window.
  4. Provide administrative support to the Compensation team, including uploading/updating job descriptions in SAI360 and formatting/typing role summaries.
  5. Support ongoing Total Rewards projects.
  6. Answer employee inquiries related to benefits, leaves of absence, and open enrollment.
  7. Serve as backup for Benefits Analyst and Leave Coordinator during absences.
  8. Assist with open enrollment system setup, testing, communications, and employee support.
  9. Upload and update job descriptions in SAI360; format and finalize content for Compensation team.
  10. Support administrative tasks across ongoing Total Rewards projects.
Experience/Preferred Skills Required:
  1. 2–4 years of experience in employee benefits and leave of absence administration.
  2. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant HR/benefits experience.
  3. Familiarity with open enrollment processes and benefits communication.
  4. Experience navigating benefit systems and HR tools (experience with UKG Pro and UKG Benefits Administration is a plus).
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  8. Proactive and reliable self-starter.
  9. Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
