Job summary

Inform Diagnostics, a Fulgent Genetics Company, is seeking an experienced supervisor for the Benefits Investigation (BI) unit. You will prioritize and manage BI requests from patients and clients, oversee daily workflow, and coordinate with client services, sales, IT and revenue cycle teams.

This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and payer guidelines. You will maintain fee schedules, train staff, monitor performance, and ensure HIPAA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years work experience in patient benefits, pre-authorizations and/or billing.
• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.

Responsibilities

• Supervises BI team workflow and distribution.
• Monitors daily performance including call and production metrics.
• Conducts monthly 1:1s with staff to improve performance.
• Maintains updated fee schedules and SOPs for patient payment options.
• Reports metrics to senior leadership.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance.
