Job summary

Inform Diagnostics, a Fulgent Genetics Company, seeks an experienced BI Supervisor to prioritize and manage BI requests from patients and clients. You will oversee daily workflow, monitor performance, and ensure accurate fee schedules and SOP adherence.

You will lead a team, coach staff, and coordinate with client services, sales, IT, and revenue cycle. Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and HIPAA is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associate Degree preferred but not required.
• 4+ years work experience in patient benefits, pre-authorizations and/or billing.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the BI team workflow and performance.
• Monitors daily operations, attendance, turnaround times and quality metrics.
• Conducts monthly 1:1s and coaching to improve performance.
• Creates schedules, approves timecards and PTO; participates in production as needed.
• Maintains patient demographic and insurance data accuracy in systems.
• Reports departmental metrics to senior leadership and collaborates cross-functionally.
