RTX Corporate is seeking a Principal Specialist, Benefits Finance to drive financial forecasting and reporting for the company’s benefits programs. Hybrid role based in Farmington, CT, reporting to the Director, Benefits Finance, with collaboration across Finance, HR, and Legal teams globally.

The role emphasizes plan design analysis, adherence to GAAP/ERISA, and interaction with external vendors. Strong MS Office proficiency and project leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Strong forecasting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial forecasts and cost analyses for benefit programs.
• Assist in financial statement disclosures and annual filings for benefit plans.
• Lead ad hoc projects including plan design analysis and due diligence.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal partners on benefit payments and accounting.
• Support audits by preparing responses and reviewing control documentation.
