The ideal candidate excels in customer service, has strong Microsoft Office skills, and can handle confidential information with professionalism while coordinating with Payroll and Accounting teams.

Aufgaben

• Manage client benefits including eligibility, enrollments, terminations and reconcile monthly invoices.
• Generate open enrollment notices and respond to employee benefit questions.
• Audit terminated employees' benefits for final deductions and coordinate with Payroll/Accounting.
• Maintain client and employee records and knowledge of Benefits software and PEO services.
• Respond to Medical Support Orders and assist with benefit coverage problems.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and benefit recipients; maintain positive relationships across departments.

JOB SUMMARY

Benefits Specialist is responsible for administration of benefits for participating clients.

Starting pay begins at 19.00 per hour + based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing client benefits. This includes but not limited to: eligibility, enrollments, terminations, reconciling monthly benefit invoices, contacting clients about their renewals, maintaining employee and client records.
• Generating open enrollment notices
• Answering questions from employees about their benefit deductions.
• Auditing terminated employees benefits for final deductions.
• Works closely with Payroll and Accounting on all benefit related issues.
• Researches and resolves questions from managers and employees regarding benefit deductions, eligibility and enrollments.
• Maintains knowledge of all Benefits software.
• Completes and responds to Medical Support Orders
• Maintains knowledge of all PEO services to assist clients with general inquiries.
• Ensures that the highest quality level of customer service is provided to clients and employees.
• Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with clients, co-workers & other departments
• Assist in special projects as assigned by management and other duties as assigned.
• Provide customer service to benefit recipients and clients
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism
• Assist employees in resolving problems with benefit coverage
