Job summary

Gallagher seeks a hybrid account management and business development professional in Austin, TX. You will nurture client relationships, drive renewals, and pursue new revenue opportunities within a defined portfolio.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience or a high school diploma with 8 years of experience, plus a professional license. CPCU/CIC/ARM preferred and strong communication skills.

How You'll Make An Impact

• This is a hybrid role that combines both account management and business development responsibilities.
• The position carries accountability for client retention and renewal efforts, as well as achieving new business production goals.
• The individual is responsible for developing and successfully acquiring new revenue opportunities from both prospective and existing clients while delivering a high level of consultative service to an assigned portfolio of accounts.
• Success in this role requires balancing relationship management, client service, and business development activities to drive growth and maintain strong client partnerships.

About You

Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related experience required. License required.

Preferred: Professional designation such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred. Excellent sales capabilities; outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
