Job summary

Phoenix Home Care in Springfield, MO is seeking an organized administrative professional to support intake, billing and coordination for home health services. You will verify insurance, manage referrals and calendar, and communicate with staff and clients to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has strong data entry and customer service experience, ability to multitask, and can work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Strong computer proficiency
• Experience with Submitting Insurance Authorizations strongly preferred
• Data Entry Experience
• Must be self-motivated
• Must have past customer service experience
• Previous experience working in an office/professional setting.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
• Previous experience working with Home Health authorization or billing is preferred but not required
• We will train the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance and benefit eligibility for patients going on home health services.
• Manage workflow of incoming referral paperwork.
• Establish good lines of communication with the Intake team and Operations.
• Manage calendar to avoid interruptions in Home Health services.
• Other duties as assigned.
