Job summary

TEKsystems in West Hartford, CT seeks a Benefits Analyst to manage a client book of business as the primary liaison with clients, carriers and team members. This role is part of the Career Foundations Program to build long-term expertise in Northeast benefits services.

You will perform data and financial analysis, prepare renewal reports and collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, and other areas on projects, while maintaining timely updates for the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related program preferred or equivalent education and/or experience required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Ability to organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Comfort using common office equipment and long computer sessions.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary service contact for an Employee Benefits book of business.
• Provide client communications, data management, and filing support.
• Perform data and financial analysis to support client teams.
• Conduct benefit benchmarking to evaluate client programs.
• Prepare renewal reports, RFPs, and marketing materials.
• Coordinate meetings and document minutes for projects.
• Engage other practice areas for cross-functional projects.
• Resolve standard issues like billing discrepancies and eligibility.
• Review and edit employee booklets and carrier contracts.
• Develop understanding of clients' business and deadlines.
• Provide regular updates to team on tasks and progress.
