The Benefits Administrator serves as the dedicated onsite expert and primary day‑to‑day anchor for the organization's self‑funded Healthcare plan. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this highly collaborative role acts as the vital, empathetic liaison connecting staff with the Third‑Party Administrator (TPA), Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) vendors, and all critical components of the healthcare ecosystem. Working closely with the Compensation and Benefits Specialist, the Administrator manages the continuous flow and auditing of eligibility data using Google Workspace, while actively monitoring claims utilization to ensure plan benefits are used accurately and cost‑effectively. As a fierce advocate for both the employee and the organization, the position balances strict compliance oversight ensuring adherence to HIPAA privacy standards and driving key annual ERISA and ACA filings. The Benefits Administrator champions healthcare literacy across the workforce while meticulously maintaining the operational integrity of this vital corporate asset. This position is responsible for playing their part to achieve the bigger mission of East‑West and for ensuring that all Human Resources activities are clearly aligned with East‑West Vision, Mission, Values, Statement of Faith, and Biblical principles.
