Job Description

Prepares quotes and assists brokers with information/materials as needed. This will be a remote role, utilizing video and screen sharing technology to facilitate collaboration, making you feel part of the team while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to dedicated mailboxes/queues for quoting.
• Review requests for quotes, determine appropriate plans, and collaborate with partners.
• Coordinate and organize proposals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
• Enter group information into various software and portals to generate proposals.
• Maintain data and monitor quote metrics.
• Prepare and transmit quote requests, follow up for completion and delivery.
• Provide administrative support, including correspondence, phone calls, and printing quotes.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.
• Maintain carrier contacts and related files and reports.
• Assist with meetings or events as needed; may include irregular hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Preferably 1+ year in insurance, medical, or employee benefits.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

• License preferred.

Functional Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and web browsers.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Minimum of 10,000 keystrokes per hour with high accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job-related documents.
• Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly.
