Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a Benefit Specialist I to join their team to coordinate enrollments, authorizations, and payer updates, ensuring accurate records and compliance with payer requirements.

You will collaborate with staff and external partners to resolve coverage or payment issues, monitor census and benefit utilization, and support program operations through meetings and trainings. This role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration, and adaptability within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school degree or equivalent
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to payer requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support managed care and value-based program activities, including enrollment, authorizations, payer updates, and compliance reviews.
  • Monitor resident census, payer assignments, and benefit utilization to ensure accurate and timely updates in internal systems.
  • Manage documentation processes such as authorizations, concurrent requests, appeals, and regulatory notifications, ensuring compliance with payer requirements.
  • Collaborate with facility staff, therapy teams, billing/AR, and external partners to maintain accurate records and resolve issues related to coverage, eligibility, or payments.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and outreach activities as needed to support program operations.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new programs or processes, adapting responsibilities as organizational needs evolve.

Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a Benefit Specialist I to join their team! Benefit Specialist I Duties and Responsibilities

Benefit Specialist I Education and Experience
  • High school degree or equivalent, required.
  • Previous expereince in Skilled Nursing,preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
  • Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards. Understanding and adherence to company safety standards and protocols required.
  • Meet all health requirements as needed.
